We got questions for us to use in a Poll/Survery from a SBN member. This member is in a master data cleansing project related to the move to S/4HANA and they are looking for advice from SBNs members. These are the questions you will find in the Poll:
1. We’re just beginning — exploring the need for MDM
Perfect for organizations still assessing problems like inconsistent data, data silos, or unclear ownership.
2. We’ve defined the strategy but have not started implementation
Covers teams who have business cases, identified domains, or drafted governance models but aren’t live yet.
3. We’re implementing MDM — tools, governance, or initial data domains are underway
Useful for organizations configuring solutions, building workflows, or onboarding first master data domains.
4. We have an operational MDM solution for one or more domains
For companies who are already using MDM for assets, products, customers, suppliers, etc., but still expanding.
5. We’re mature — enterprise-wide MDM with governance and continuous improvement
For organizations with active governance boards, stewardship processes, automation, and scaled MDM.
