SBN is part of the global User Group Network offered by SAP.

SBN is invited twice a year to participate in the Global Exchange in Walldorf. Presentations are made by the User Groups and by SAP.  Diversity and global knowledge sharing are key strategic elements in this exchange. Here you find pictures from the meeting November 2025.

SAP Customer Services & Delivery Strategy with Thomas Saueressig, SAP was the opening session on the second day. See Roy Halvorsens summary of the 3 days 

 

Mientje Palais, VNSG had a colourful slide and was one of presenters on the first day on the topic "Kindness in your part of the world". All attendees had the possibility to send a contribution. This gave the audience many perspectives of kindness from all over the globe.

 

INDUS, Atul Govil and Chander Khanduja made a Member Presentations on the Membership Lifecycle. They presented Innovative activation initiatives from onboarding to a happy member. Later also SAPience and UKISUG presented

 

The Group Picture November 2025

Every year a Group picture is taken with the keynote speaker. This year Thomas Saueressig who stands in the middle. Next to Thomas in blue you find the president of SUGEN Gianmaria Perancin and on the side in dark blue dress  you find Yasmin Awad the Manager of GUGO the organisation organising SUGEN. The picture is linking to a larger version if you click on it.

 

Most of the community in one picture, taken by Sinan Schreiner SAP. Every user group can bring 3 people. User groups with long travel distances as example Mexico and Argentina participate often only with one attendee. Travel and flight time is always a topic which is discussed. The Australian representatives as example travels 20+ hours which many others also do.

 

SAP AI Strategy was presented by Jonathan von Rüden, SAP as one example of the presentations we listened to.

 

The lunch time is used for Market Place Session. Here Mirko Valentic, Pascal Jung, and Carsten Schmitt are discussing intent based development with Malena Guiterrez ASUG Mexico and EM from SBN.

Jonathon Thorpe from Australia (SAUG) presents the work of the election committee. Conor Riordan from UK and Ireland (UKISUG) and EM Fahrer from Norway (SBN) had supported the work as seen in slide.

 

Picture from exercise for all participants called Table Rotation. The topics discussed in groups were: Future of Events, Increasing the performance of a User Group using AI , Closing the gap between business and IT users

 

As part of the experience centre tour we visited a full functioning shop in the SAP area. Here we were shown electronic labels, counting of store and many other things.
