Scenario Planning Solution to support procurement decisions for upstream carbon management - ESG Scope 3 [slides]
There is a strong demand for scenario planning, cost/benefit analysis and forecasting for improved supply chain management. With the reporting requirements set forth by the European Union Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Scope 3 refers to the impacts that are not in the direct control of the company and addresses the up and downstream supply chain impacts. 

Companies with significant upstream procurement do need to better manage, track and report on their suppliers’ footprint.

Jenny Edwards has over 25 years’ experience in sustainability, with a focus on retail and agri-food supply chains, including upstream supply chain management. Jenny is the lead for Cognizant’s ESG data management and reporting offering.

Sugata Biswas is specializes in consulting in SAP Logistics space (Sales, Procurement) with taxation, credit and IFRS revenue reporting requirements. He was part of winning team in SAP Hack-2-Build Sustainability Contest and with ideation on Scope 3 Scenario Planning Solution.
