The presentation was called "Orkla and Cognizant Visionary Future with SAP".  Orkla started their Journey to S/4HANA several years ago which means they have the new platform to stand on and develop from.

I found the advice we got for how to run a succesful projekt was the most valuable in this dialog-presentation. I have therfore made 2 highlights, but please listen to the full presentation. It is worth the time spent if you work in or with large projects.

My highlights are:

10:41 into the presentation Anette Borge talked about "One Orkla". Save cost, unite and streamline processes was the driver of the One Orkla projekt and not the IT solutions implemented. The very clear goal and management comittment made it easier to engage leaders and divisions of Orkla.

42:30 into the presentation Anette Borge talked about culture. IT is part of Orkla and all knew they would implement a system they also where to mainatin and support for the comming 10-20 years. To know this on beforehand creates dedication.

In 2022 Statkraft and Equinor made one joint presentation about their projects.
Roy Eidset, VP Digital Finance, Statkraft AS shared a similar recommendation as Orkla in respect of culture. They hired stand ins for the normal work, made people free and engaged them in the project to develop the new system. On the link you also find Equinors "how we prepare and start" presentation.
