SAP Master Data Governance, Cloud edition.

Some of you may remember that Markus Kuppe, Chief Product Owner SAP Master Data Governance in SAP, have given us updates on SAP MDG Roadmap in our SBN Master Data days both in 2019 & 2020. One of the questions he got from SBN members was; what about MDG in the cloud?
In this recent blog post from Markus, he gives an update to this question:

“I am happy and proud to announce that we are planning to provide a new version of MDG: SAP Master Data Governance, cloud edition. We expect that many companies will use this new, complementary version in addition to – and not as a replacement of – their SAP MDG on S/4HANA implementation, in order to establish a federated and modular approach to master data governance in their enterprise and to manage master data at the exact place in the organization where it is best understood.”
