Leveraging Digitalization for Responsible and Sustainable Business Transformation

Fighting climate change, resource depletion and plastics pollution is rapidly moving up on the business agenda. The motivation of industry leaders goes beyond a heartfelt obligation to leave a livable planet to their children and grandchildren.

Join this session to learn more about how enterprise software and new digital technologies can be leveraged to create intelligent enterprises while delivering sustainability benefits. We will discuss how digitization can help to shape business transformation in a responsible way by providing tools, insights and solutions to connect global value chains, create transparency and accountability, measure and reduce carbon emissions, eliminate waste, maximize resource productivity and innovate new processes and business models.

One area of focus will be SAP’s circular economy program and its Plastics Cloud. Another focus will be on Climate 21, a program SAP launched to build analytical and transactional capabilities into our enterprise applications that can help our customers understand and minimize the greenhouse gas (GHG) footprint of their products and operations along their value chains.
