The Digital Journey influences the internal governance

The aim to automate and reduce cost influences not only the tools but much more the organisation.

In SBN we notice there is an ongoing discussion about how to organize. We have get many questions and there is a many requests for experenece sharing.

At the SBN Conference the Erik Sandsbraaten, Managing Director - Strategy & Consulting, CFO & Enterprise Value Lead Norway, Accenture Finance presented on the topic "Finance Reimagined - Transforming the finance function into the New – preparing for S/4". See below a slide from this presentation

Erik mentioned the opportunity for the CFO to become a very important "value architect" in the organisation, owner of the Analytics Hub in which the quality depends on data quality and data structure. This Accenture presentation is one example of organisational change as a result of the Digital Journey. The webinar "Learn how IESA migrated to S/4HANA" December 4th, 09:00 Thorben Hald from itelligence presents "low hanging fruits" also called quick wins which can be a result of a S/4HANA implementation. He shares how they started with first step quick wins like real-time analytics, Fiori UX improvements and important processes (including real-time MRP Procurement and Billing) .

Anyhow... Organisational governance will be an area were we will put focus as it creates value for all who are starting their journey or are on the Journey to S/4HANA.
