SAP SAM4U (Software Asset Management 4 You) was explained. This is a tool for getting a Best Practice for Internal Organisation to control SAP licenses in place. It is a Fiori-based tool that provides insights into your license inventory by consolidating usage data, user authorizations, and actual system activity. To use it a lightweight extractor is installed on all your SAP backend systems. It retrieves usage data from system statistics (e.g., ST03N) and user profiles (e.g., SU01). The tool SAM4U consolidates your entire environment into a single, intuitive interface.
