Nytt engagemang från SBN i ett globalt samarbete

The three representatives from SBN have just got home from a valuable global collaboration SUGEN meeting. We will give you a sneak peek this week and a full report next week.

The first executive from SAP who visited the SUGEN meeting was Thomas Saueressig.

Thomas is Executive Board Member for Customer Services & Delivery at SAP. Thomas shared on the topic Customer Services & Delivery Strategy and was welcomed by the chairman of SUGEN who is from France.

 

A few years ago the SUGEN group stressed the fact IT/Enterprice architects was a to scarced resource for customers to be able to succeed with their journey to S/4HANA and RISE. 

Now in 2025 Thomas shared the good news that SAP has hired, educated and certfied so many resources he regarded this to be not critical anymore. He also talked about new trainings and certifications offered to the market. SAP puts pressure on consultant companies to ensure their consultants are certfied. He also mentioned the solutions are developing so fast that consultants need to renew their certifications with the delta information every year to stay certfied.

The SUGEN mission is to be a powerful, international voice that unites regional User Groups.

Through user groups customer representatives engaged in open, honest dialogue between members and SAP that ultimately drives the market towards excellence, innovation and success, creating value for the worldwide SAP customer community at large

The work groups in SUGEN provide a collective view of strategic issues that need to be addressed by SAP


Core Purpose of SUGEN:

  • Foster the sharing of information, expertise and experience users and SAP cannot find anywhere else.
  • Identify strategic priorities and act on programs to advance and apply technology for greatest gain of the SAP customer community
  • Foster international market views including customers' short and long term demand drivers, major challenges and business imperatives
  • Guide and inspire SAP in delivering worldwide aligned support for the mutual benefit of the user communities and SAP
