In picture: Ulrike Raidl explains that systems relating to SAP Cloud to SAP Cloud connectivity can have RISE (AI) functionality.
RISE supports the transition of a SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA on-premise installation to the cloud and the adoption of a cloud operating model.
RISE holds a Cloud ERP connected to SAP, with line of business functionality and tools wich only exists if the connected Cloud ERP which is included in a RISE agreement. A SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA on-premise installation will not have this functionality.
As Ulrike Raidl explains that only systems relating to SAP Cloud to SAP Cloud connectivity that have the technical platform for the RISE (AI) functionality.
In the upcomming release, the feature pack 2 stack, there will be a lot of functionality for all Line of Businesses which only will be available in SAP Private Cloud systems hosted by SAP. If the system is on a hyperscaler and the hyperscaler has a SAP space the move is more of less a technical adress change. Learn more at the SBN Conference.
