KYMA - Introduction to the future way of extending SAP C/4HANA solutions

SAP C/4HANA Foundation is an orchestration layer that enables customers to manage the complexity centrally, while allowing them to customize and grow their business. 

SAP C/4HANA Foundation is a lightweight yet powerful technology layer at no extra charge for customers entitled to use C/4HANA Foundation. Currently, SAP C/4HANA Foundation includes SAP C/4HANA cockpit, a place where customers can keep track of all their entitlements, the list of provisioned clouds including their status and further administrative links. With it comes unified access across the entire C/4HANA Suite, one identity to all platform components for all C/4HANA suite customers.

The included SAP Cloud Platform Extension Factory, is based on open-source project Kyma and harmonizes the integration and customization across SAP C/4HANA for smooth integration. It improves product stability and upgradeability by externalizing customizations and extensions, and increases agility through open standards, technology agnostic solutions, event-based cost-efficient extension mechanism and reusable services.
