This year’s Projects day has a great balance between customer cases and knowledge sharing from our partners. While there is a project related theme to all of the presentations, there are key presentations in all of SBNs key business areas.
For S/4HANA enthusiasts we have the continuing story of Helse Vest’s greenfield implementation, the largest of its type in Norway, where they have now completed two phases of the multi-phase programme. Together with IBM, Helse Vest have adapted their project delivery methods and have started to reap the benefits of the new system by delivering some quick wins based on Fiori and workflows in the Logistics area. In addition to IBM/Helse Vest, Deloitte will talk about their own global implementation of S/4HANA, one of the largest in the world and their experience of implementing in these special times.
For those interested in Finance and Accounting we have Statkraft and Bouvet talking about continuous global and local improvements they have made to accounting processes and how they have leveraged new technology such as Robotics Process Automation (RPA). For HR specialists we have Sariba sharing how they have managed to deliver a number of HR related projects despite the challenges we are all facing with restrictive working practices.
For those with an interest in IT platform moves we have Equinor and Accenture who will share the experiences from Equinor’s move to the Cloud and Yara will talk about a large, infrastructure transformation programme where they also changed their infrastructure and AMS supplier of more than a decade.
From a project management perspective the agenda will focus on traditional project challenges such as:
- Moving an organisation from a traditional waterfall approach to an agile based way of delivery
- How to deliver project benefits and quick wins
- How to make continuous improvements while leveraging new technologies
And the latest project challenges such as:
- Running projects remotely, without any possibility to meet face-to-face
- Training users to demanding standards without classroom courses
- Obtaining stakeholder buy in without direct access to the stakeholders
- How to test virtually, yet still meet demanding quality requirements
At this event, we really encourage questions and discussion so please be prepared to share your knowledge and discuss whatever you would like to know more about relating to SAP projects. You can find a full agenda and registration form for this event on the link below:
