SBNs S/4HANA-dag 26. mai - årets virtuelle høydepunkt.

There are so many events now on S/4HANA and our time is a valuable commodity, so to sit through several hours of inflated product claims and SAP partner advice on matters they have no experience of is no longer justifiable. For that reason, in putting together this year’s S/4HANA day, I wanted each of the presentations to answer at least one key question to which our members have been looking for an answer. In addition, I hoped to be able to find a balance between customer cases straight from the customer, cases told by partner experts and specific advice that helps to clarify and demystify the process of moving to S/4, keeping it updated and realising the benefits, which are clearly there for the taking.
I believe this year’s program has that mix and I am confident it will provide the level of information and advice that will benefit anyone who attends. There are no highlights this time as the standard is so high and you can look forward to the following:
Jumbo – Holland’s second largest supermarket chain will explain why they decided to go for S/4HANA and why they decided the best approach was to use SAP Model Company for Retail. Jumbo’s lead architect and the project manager will also explain how S/4 fitted into a typical retail architecture including SAP CAR and CRM. In addition, they will also share Jumbo’s thoughts on their future roadmap where they will move all of their stores onto S/4HANA.
Kværner, share their experiences of upgrading from an early version of S/4 to 1809, which will be relevant for the majority of Norwegian companies currently on S/4 HANA. Kværner will also share their thoughts and plans on how they will leverage the upgraded functionality and possibilities in their way forward.
IBM will explain how their “Bluefield” approach enabled Vodafone in Germany to move to S/4HANA avoiding multiple migrations and deployments yet providing the new functionality they were looking to achieve. Vodafone believe the approach was 50% faster than traditional approaches.
SAP will demystify the options for cloud and on premise deployments and what the customer can expect from the various options. There will also be advice and guidance for those who want to combine options and how to move to cloud for those who have started on prem.
Pearl will share their considerable experience from working with their customers, the majority of which are in the Retail sector, in moving them to S/4HANA. There will be lessons learned and important advice on how companies can reap the benefits after making the move to S/4HANA.
Capgemini will challenge the myth that S/4 HANA is not good business and that it is virtually impossible to create a positive business case for moving to S/4 HANA.
Of course this year’s event will be virtual and you can find out more and register here for the event on May 26th, starting at 09:00hrs.
