Project Description
With gCTS (Git-enabled Change and Transport System) and library steps in Project ‘Piper’, you can start the journey of your ABAP development into the world of Git and DevOps. We now think about the next steps for tailored process and offerings for developers and administrators to cope with the challenges that arise when you set up DevOps for ABAP. To be sure that we meet your needs, we would like to hear from you: How do you currently use gCTS? Where does the process work for you and where not? What do you miss to be delivered by SAP and where would you need more flexibility to integrate what you already have in place – maybe for other development environments? Or did you look into gCTS and DevOps with ABAP and found that what SAP currently offers does not meet your expectations? We are also very interested to learn from you about your reasons and the things that you miss.

SAP Reference Architecture in SAP LeanIX

Description of Planned Project
The planned SAP Customer Engagement Initiative project will collect customer feedback on making the SAP Reference Architecture content available in SAP LeanIX. Customers can leverage this content in SAP LeanIX to define their baseline / target application landscape. We will also discuss the integration of the business process related aspects with SAP Signavio.

The SAP Reference Architecture content provides a harmonized reference business and solution architecture which aims to align business and IT by mapping business capabilities and processes to IT solutions. As such, it is composed of 2 parts:

SAP Reference Business Architecture (RBA) provides business process and business capability models for cross-industry and various industries, describing the scope and undertaking of any enterprise, in a business-centric and product-agnostic way.
SAP Reference Solution Architecture (RSA) identifies the suitable SAP solutions to address specific business problems and requirements.
