Join this webinar to learn how to use the latest and greatest ABAP capabilities to migrate custom code (your own system enhancements/developments in SAP ERP) to SAP S/4HANA or SAP BTP ABAP environment and then build modern, ABAP-based applications or extensions using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

In the first part you will learn how to analyze your custom code for SAP S/4HANA or SAP BTP ABAP environment readiness, migrate the custom code and adjust it on the new system (SAP S/4HANA or SAP BTP ABAP).
You will also see, which tools are offered to ease the adaptation of existing custom code towards the new on-stack extensibility option with Embedded Steampunk to make your custom code cloud-ready and upgrade-stable in the new SAP S/4HANA system.
 
In the second part you will be presented an overview of the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) – how to efficiently develop enterprise-grade, cloud-ready SAP Fiori apps and web APIs with RAP, either from scratch or by reusing existing business logic. (Customers could transform legacy ABAP custom code to RAP. This process would require manual effort as it cannot be fully automated)
