Transparency Act

The Act relating to enterprises’ transparency and work on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions (Transparency Act) is a Norwegian law.
The Act is meant to aid in meeting challenges of human rights abuses and indecent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and provision of services in Norway and supply chains across the world. Enterprises must be transparent about their work with the general public, and provide information to anyone who requests it. The Transparency Act (the “Act”) came into force in July 2022.

The SAP solution which supports the governance and reporting in this area is SAP Ariba Supplier Risk.
We will get a short presentation on How and What is required to use this tool.

ERP means that obligated producers are responsible for the end of life collection and treatment for certain products.
Plastic Tax is a tax which is complicated related to the fact that if a package is covered by an approved return scheme is subject to a lower environmental tax rate.

The SAP solution to support the tax calculation and the reporting is called SAP Responsible Design & Production.
We will get a short intro to How and What is needed to use this tool.
