The University of Helsinki partnered with Scandic Fusion to conduct a proof-of-concept (PoC) from November 2024 to January 2025, aiming to evaluate whether SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning could meet their financial planning needs and potentially replace their legacy SAP BPC solution. The PoC focused on testing end user experience of SAC Planning in a real-world scenario—and it proved to be a success.
The PoC laid a strong foundation for future collaboration. Currently, the University is implementing the first of three stages: financial planning, utilizing SAC seamless planning in SAP Datasphere on top of S/4HANA. This stage is targeted to go live by the end of 2025. The subsequent stages will focus on project planning and workforce planning.
