RISE er SAPs strategi, og hva mener SAP med en «Cloud Only» strategi? SAP har fra sine kunder blitt oppfordret til  vesentlig å redusere kostandene (TCO) for løsningene. Teknologien fornyes hele tiden, og kunder ønsker å utnytte denne mye raskere. Mange eksisterende kunder har stor teknisk gjeld, og da å manøvrere en virksomhetskritisk løsning til å bli agil og innovativ er ikke alltid like enkelt.
SAP utviklet RISE-konseptet for å imøtekomme både økonomiske og tekniske krav. «Keep the Core Clean» er et fundament for å oppnå dette, og for mange kan dette virke som ren utopi å få til. Med riktig medtodeverk og verktøy er det allikevel høyst oppnåelig, og en «blodtrimmet» skyløsning er innen rekkevidde.
SAP ønsker å gi et lite innblikk i de erfaringer SAP har så langt i samarbeid med kunder på en RISE-reise gjennom dette foredraget.
