RISE is top of the agenda for SAP and its long-term strategy for SAP customers.

SAP Process Insights readily connects to your SAP ERP application or SAP S/4HANA software system and immediately begins surfacing process weaknesses and improvement opportunities. It generates process improvement recommendations quickly for automating or enhancing processes. Having identified weaknesses we then automate activities with a low-code/no-code platform and all needed capabilities for process automation like workflows, robotic process automation, or machine learning.

Every organization using SAP will eventually upgrade to SAP /4HANA. The question is whether you should try to fix underlying security issues before, after, or during your migration to the new platform. Many security issues will be role or access related, but is it wise to redesign roles as part of an SAP S/4HANA implementation?  Fixing underlying security issues is traditionally a daunting task that many organizations put off until it becomes a crisis. However, does migrating to S/4HANA with its many new transaction codes make it a crisis? Will the budget provided to move to S/HANA also make it possible (or impossible) to finally ease the burden of having to support an outdated role catalog?

Join Allen Cutting, Senior Consultant at Security Weaver is the speaker for this presentation. Allen will demonstrate Security Weaver’s new tool, Authorization Architect, which simplifies, accelerates, and improves the role redesign process.  For example, Authorization Architect shows you which obsolete transaction codes your users have been executing and the new S/4HANA transaction codes that replace them.  Allen will also share ways to significantly reduce the time spent testing roles so you can ensure a good user experience on SAP S/4HANA and not be bothered by access issues.
